I think The Visitation is one of Davisons best stories, and this edit just makes it a bit more digestible.
Nyssa being stuck in the TARDIS working on a machine doesn't last an entire episode now, which makes it seem a bit less silly!
Everything thats in the original story is in this cutdown version, so I hope you like it :)
