I cut all of episode one, and went straight to the TARDIS landing on the planet. The Doctor is accused of committing a crime he couldn't have made, could there be some sort of doppleganger? A cactus doppleganger, perhaps? (spoiler: the answer is yes)
It's a much pacier story, but it doesn't really have everything the original edit had. Enjoy it for what it is!
